This was one of the more uninteresting episodes of E.R. for me.
Didn't much care for Gallant's parents showing up, and then unloading their baggage on Neela. And what was up with Ray and Neela, all of a sudden Ray becoming the clingy one in their "platonic" roommate situation?
Did enjoy how Luka got out of the Africa trip by coercing Pratt into taking his place (else forfeit his Attending position next year).
How tenuous is Sam's new living situation with the rich guy with bad blood. How long can they hang with the guy, what happens when he croaks? Sam's kid Alex looked funny in a private school uniform, the other Alex (original kid actor) would have looked far more rebellous in that outfit.
Who knew you could purposefully show someone flipping the "bird" on network TV these days? It was good for a laugh considering what that guy had been through with the cops that day.

Yeah I was surprised that they could so clearly show the deaf guy flipping off the cops too.
Where else have I seen the guy that played Gallant's father?
Was it Frank who said that Pratt would be "returning to the motherland" ?! too much
I'm finding the whole Sam living in the rich guy's house to be an extremely creepy storyline. Interesting but creepy.

I don't know, I like the Neela/Gallant relationship so I really don't like Shane West in the middle of it. Knowing ER they won't be able to resist and we'll probably see a love scene between those two...

I hadn't gotten around to watching the previous 2 episodes so I watched them right before this one and I'm still trying to figure out where Ray and Neela liking each other came from.

I'm not liking the Neela-Gallant marriage at all. I still can't believe Neela went through with it, just getting swept in the emotion of the moment (when it comes to marrying military men is a time-honored tradition, I guess).
