A member from Hee Haw passes away

Just got an Yahoo News Alert that said Buck Owens has passed away at age 76.What was his biggest hit-Tiger by the Tail ?

He had around 20 #1 hits. Definately more my parents gig, but he would definately qualify as legendary.

Makes me sad to think that he's going to remembered for Hee Haw more than the excellent music he recorded long before that show ever aired. It was cool to see Dwight Yoakam hook up with him.

Absolutely agree with the two posters above me, but I must say that as the years have passed, I have learned to enjoy occasional viewings of 'Hee-Haw' much more than when I was a kid.

Never watched Hee Haw, but Buck Owens' career was much more than that.

He was born about 20 miles from where I live. There's a Buck Owens Freeway that goes through the area.
