Scarface Gift Set

Is this the only way to get the 1932 version, and does it have it's own case or does it come in the newer movie's case? I've never seen this set but I'm very interested in getting the older one. Thanks.

I would definitely spend the money for the giftset. Its amazing how much better the original movie is when you watch them back to back. The 80's version of Scarface has to be one of the most overrated movies of all time.

Thank God for that Montana money clip. Without it....cash would just be flying around my pocket un-protected.

Now, if I can just find a bagel and creamcheese paperweight.

There seems to be a bunch on EBAY....a lot seem to be bootlegs though. I still have the 1932 unwatched. I may sell it. Someone got $20+ just for the 1932 edition....weird

I would snatch that up: Either it was tremendously mismarked or perhaps you are mistaken: Borders lists it at $49.99

Online, the best price for the Deluxe Giftset (the only packaging that contains Howard Hawks' 1932 version) is around 40 bucks.

Hmm, maybe I'll swing by after work today and pick it up.

I like the 80s version, but I don't think it's as fantastic as every rapper out there does, but I want the 30s version like crazy! So I'll pick it up sometime in the near future.

6 or so months ago Amazon had this set for between $20 and $25, so I would believe it.

(I had a second copy of the set I was going to try to sell, but ended up not trying since that price was so easily found at the time)

I bought 2 of these (1 for my brother) when Outpost.com (Fry's online) had them for $22.99 each. It was a sale they had back in June of 2004. I don't think it lasted more than 4 - 5 days.

Yep I bought it from Overstock during their sale for around 22 too. One of the best purchases ever, love the 80' version. Found the original incredibly dull but will give it another shot

There is an all region edition available in Korea. Check the International Forum for a list of Korean dealers who ship to the US.

It was actually a marketplace seller on Amazon that was selling them for $20. That was when I picked up my set. Movies Unlimited I think was the name.

I sold the Money Clip for $29 on eBay....dont know what they get now but used to get 25-30 when I sold it

buy the gift set and sell rest, could even make profit and still keep 1932 version depending on how much u get it for.

I'm a fan of the 80's version but the inclusion of the 30's version made the gift set a must buy for me when it first came out.
