I was at Sam's yesterday, and they had the new Harry Potter dvd collection set (8 disc set, all 4 films) for $44.28. However, the register rang up the set at about $48 bucks. I was given a refund for the difference.

I went back today, and the sets were repriced at the higher price so this is very YMMV.

Well, considering it's only $39.99 at Tower Records with free shipping... I'm not sure how much of a deal this is, since it's also YMMV, but I guess if you have a Sam's membership, it would be good to get in-store.

Looks like WB didn't bother changing the case for the first two to match the others. I don't like those cardboard cases...

Thanks for the tip about Tower's price of $39.99 ($42.89 total in CA). I canceled my Amazon order (their current price is $44.96). Taking into account Amazon's 1.57% discount for A9 search, I saved a whopping $1.37! Worth it to me, an avowed penny-pincher.

It's my first purchase at Tower. Curious about the service.

In my experience, Tower's had great customer service. I ordered a couple of Batman Animated sets from them. When one didn't show, they overnighted a replacement to me.

When I ordered the Monster Legacy Set and the entire Frankenstein volume was missing, they happily sent me a copy. I was very pleased with their customer service, and I've never had any problems with them.
