MARSAVE<b>5</b> is the code. I'm not sure when it expires. Coupled with some mail-in rebate titles, this turns out to be a decent deal. Oh, and I've used it twice on the same account, so there currently seems to be no limit.

Figures.

The day after the rebate for NYPD Blue expired.. -ohbfrank-

Too bad South Park season 7 is just short @ 34.99 (it also has a $10 MIR). Anything really cheap on the site?

As for other new releases, it seems you would need 2 to get enough to use the coupon, and it only saves $1 over using the Backstage Pass card in store assuming the prices & rebates will be the same (I would normally opt to save the $1, but with the recent "no UPC required on the form but we'll reject you because you didnt sent it" BS, I think I may just pass).

I personally think that's a brilliant strategy. I'd bite on this for South Park Season 7, but two things: when does the code expire, and when does the rebate expire?

I can sweeten the deal a little better for you. Instead of wasting .99 on a cloth, buy a GC. You can email it to yourself for as little as a $1.00 or any amount that gets you up to exactly $35 so you can use the coupon.

...And, yes, the coupon works.

I've been placing single-title pre-orders, then purchasing GCs to get it up to $35, then using that GC (along with the coupon again) to keep placing orders. I'm pretty set for the next month's worth of preorders...plus I'll be getting over $50 back in rebates. ;-)

This sounds like a useful technique. The one question I have is, how long does it take them to e-mail you an electronic gift card? I ordered one Friday and still haven't received it.

I received each of mine within 24 hours.

Thanks to the lumberjack for alerting us about this offer. I ordered the Police Woman season 1 dvd on Wednesday and received it 3 days later on Saturday! I used the coupon code and got free budget shipping. However, the package was sent Priority mail. Amazon and the other online retailers usually use media (slow) mail when you choose Free shipping. I plan on ordering from fye.com again soon, and will use the ordering suggestions that the other posters recommended.

I have no problem with FYE themselves, but their rebate company blows... Still, great price on South Park, so I'll bite...

Thanks for the deal.

I ordered Howl's Moving Castle, Lady & the Tramp, and South Park Season 7 in 3 separate orders using the gift card trick. Since I ordered South Park last, worst case, I'm stuck with a $1 virtual gift card if they don't have future good deals.

Howl's Moving Castle & Lady & the Tramp (Each): $19.99 - $5 Coupon + 8.375% NYC Tax +$0.39 Stamp - $7 MIR = $9.64 Each

South Park Season 7: $34.99 - $5 Coupon + 8.375% NYC Tax +$0.39 Stamp - $10 MIR = $22.89

actually, in terms of rebates, Parago is probably one of the best ones. True, they may give you an invalid rebate response once in a while, but a simple phone call will fix that 90+% of the time.

Thanks, Lumberjack.

Went ahead and ordered Howl & Kong [2 disc]. Both have $7 rebates. Total [minus $5 coupon + $2.28 tax] was $40.26.

After the rebate, that'd bring the cost down to $36.26 or $13.13 per. Thanks again!

Hi, I'm new here and I have two quick questions. Do you have to cut up your insert to send in the upc for the fye.com rebates? And usually how long do the rebates through fye take?

Which phone no is that? Having problems with a coconuts.com rebate (invalid purchase location for some reason).

Most rebates on the fye.com site no longer requires UPC codes. Just read the rebate form on the page of the DVD you wish to purchase to find out.

Dang it, I was gonna place an order but I didn't realize the code was only good through 3/12. Figured it was gonna go through atleast most of march, since it was a march code.
