Then look again at most of the sportwriters on ESPN, Fox Sports, etc., out there who said the Seahawks were screwed out of the title. It was only Stealer fans who benefitted from that theft and it is only Stealer fans who will want or buy that dvd.

Besides threadcrapping...you're further wearing out the tired tired inaccurate argument that the refs gave the game to the Steelers. If you truly believe that, than fine. You don't have to buy the DVD and you have NO reason to read or post in this thread!
Back on topic. I'm picking this up for sure. But I'm resisting the urge to rush on this as it's readily available. Columbia House has the title so I will go that route.

Couldn't agree more. With all that whining I'd have thought you were a Browns fan, not a Seahawks fan. (Speaking as someone who grew up in Cleveland as a faithful Steelers fan.)

I'm a fan of neither team, but I do think the refs did play a crucial role in the final score. I'm not saying the Seahawks would have won, but there was a much better chance that they would have. I just wouldn't write of "theflyingdutch" as being a bitter whiner without looking at the other side of the story. Richard Justice from the Houston Chronicle wrote this:
The refs first big mistake came late in the first quarter when Seattle quarterback Matt Hasselbeck threw a 16-yard touchdown to Darrell Jackson. The score was erased when Jackson was called for offensive pass interference against safety Chris Hope. Replays seem to show there was some light contact but nothing significant.
Moments later, Pittsburgh quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was given credit for a touchdown he might not have scored on a third-down dive toward the goal line.
There was another terrible call when Hasselbeck's 18-yard completion (to the 1 yard line) was called back by a phantom holding penalty. The call was ridiculous. Seattle tackle Sean Locklear was locked up with a Pittsburgh defender. There was no holding. Hasselbeck threw an interception two plays later, and on Pittsburgh's next possession, the Steelers scored the touchdown that clinched it (14 point turnaround).
The Seahawks made plenty of mistakes on their way. Holmgren's clock management was terrible. Seattle allowed Willie Parker's 75-yard touchdown run and Antwaan Randle El's 43-yard touchdown pass. And yet, the game wasn't completely decided by the players.
Some will disagree with this suggestion. They will say human error is part of the game. That philosophy doesn't hold up when there's enough technology to allow refs to get it right most of the time. In the end, the NFL ought to feel at least as bad as the Seahawks.

It is all judgement calls....I saw replays of the so called "Phantom" call ; it is only phantom
if you are a SeaHawks fan..holding is holding no matter how slight, same for the endzone call maybe it was slight but it was still contact..Ben may have gotten over or maybe not but that was the call and that was only 3rd down..The game is over...I have never heard so much crying over a game...Seahawks lost...End of Story...There is always next year..
