First Brothers In Arms screens for the 360! WOW!

These screens are from the official Xbox magazine, and they've been confirmed as real time by both Gearbox, the developer and the magazine.

Here's part of the story from the magazine.

I'm not trying to thread crap but, how many more WWII FPS sequels do we really need? Those graphics look really good but, not much better than COD2.

WOW! Who knew people would go apeshit over such a thread. And with all due respect, what does a new game have to do with more backwards compatible games?

You need your eyes fixed. That looks far beyond Call of Duty 2.

Is this have a straight FP view or can you go 3rd person? I have really got to the point that I do not like the FP view at all, I think that is why I stopped playing COD2, that and the horrible on line play.

How many more times can you storm the beaches at Normandy? I mean really?

They need more games like Ghost Recon. Not the same stuff over and over again.

Or how about taking one of these ultra realistic game engines and start recreating some of the battles over in the middle east? They could start in afghanistan and move the fighting over to Iraq. I know on history channel they have shown some awsome recreations of battles from this last war.

graphics look nice but it just looks like a zoom in on a face and a cinema shot, I will wait till I see some in game screen shots to get excited. this reminds me of the early madden 06 "screen shots". Also I am tired of WWII games and I am hoping for more modern warfare so I can use some modern weapons and not be stuck with the ancient weapons of WW2 games.

Ghost Recon is great but Ubisoft is an amazing and innovative company. Other companies probably only finance games they know will do well and less likely to take chances.

Truthfully? I never get tired of it.

I am a huge WWII buff, combine that with my love of FPS and I'm in heaven.

I love WWII games as well. The more realistic the better. They bring me just one little bit closer to what it was like for those soldiers who fought in those days. Kinda like stepping into their shoes just for a while but with the safety of hitting the off button on my system.

So you would perfer spending your time with your 360 playing your old XBOX games, rather then 360 games?

How about those of us who own a 360 but never owned an XBox? There are plenty of XBox games that I never got a chance to play that I'd like to while I wait for the 360-specific titles.

You are assuming everyone has played ALL these games. The first time I stormed the beaches of Normandy was COD2. How many times can Lucasarts recreate the battle of Hoth? As long as people like it, they will make it.
