I just watched this movie again and I am still in awe at how explosive it is. The action scenes that John Woo creates is sheer artistry and to know that he orchestrated them while filming and not before is amazing. Watching them I recall so many other movies made since "The Killer" , though I can't exactly name them since they seem so common place now after watching.
So what other films have scenes that seem to be a direct result of John Woo's "The Killer" (1989)?

A lot of gunplay-moves from it inspired Desperado.
Not a movie, but the videogame, Hitman 2:Silent Assassin, seems to borrow stuff from The Killer. The hitman's hideout where he recieves his missions is in a church (As the movie) plus the final mission of the game involves a shoot-out in the same church (As does the movie)

One of the final scenes in Face-Off takes place in a church and is very similar to the one in The Killer.

Exactly! He ripped off his own movie and made an inferior version.

Many, many american action flicks have been heavily inspired by Woo. The one that immediately jumps to mind is Bad Boys 2. Will Smith diving around with 2 guns blazing is a direct ripoff (or homage if one wants to be charitable) to Woo.

that's what i'm saying, but hardly anything specific mentioned. and Woo's own don't count because he uses many staples throughout everyone of his films. i want any and all other Woo.
