I know, but the previous poster was referring to the collector's pack, which includes the 2-disc version. I think it is wrong that the previous releases included 2-discs for the same price that they are now giving you only 1-disc! Whoever started the trend of paying more for a bonus disc should be shot...

I tried looking for reviews for Cosby Show Season 2. At Amazon the upcoming comments said these are supposed to be the uncut episodes rather than the cut/syndicated ones like Season 1 (which I avoided for this reason). Does anyone know if Season 2 is complete and uncut? I might buy them for $19.99 then. It's interesting to see DDD's price on S2 is $32.99! Usually DDD is a little cheaper than stores.

At first I misread the B2G1F $14.99 titles as B1G1F. I've seen many of those titles sell for $10 in 2 for $20 or such sales. At $7.50 I think I'd get Tommy Boy. I assume if you want just 1 title out of a B1G1F or B2G1F list at Best Buy you're out of luck because don't they put them together as a package deal and take away the discount if you return any of the package deal?

One interesting thing is that for the last 3 Harry Potters (released in 2-DVD editions only AFAIK) they were $14.99 at most stores and I think Comp USA had them for $9.99 each time. Now that WB has gone to separate 1 and 2 DVD releases, the 1 DVD release costs what the 2 DVD release used to and now the people who want the 2 DVD release have to pay $5-$7 more. I don't like seeing DVD prices go up. If it weren't for the Suncoast gift cards I have burning a hole in my pocket (it's $22.99 there... $2 more than BBY or CC) I'd pass on Harry Potter until the 2 DVD release is around $10.

While the previous Ghibli releases have all been $19.99, there used to be a coupon for $5 off if you buy 2 disney titles, $10 off if you buy 3, etc., that was on the back of one of the BB giftcards.

Unfortunately, it looks like these expired at the end of last year. I do still see them in the store though, so I'm probably going to try and get a manager to approve it, since they're still selling expired coupons.

If the latter, I would hope that if I buy all three, it comes up as $6 off of Totoro and $6 off of Whisper of the heart. $54 is something I'll begrudgingly give up for three excellent films, but $48 would be a sweeter deal! I'd also like to consider Harry Potter this week as well!

I wonder about it too. $48 would be sweet. Too bad the Disney GC coupon expired last year. It would have added another $10 discount on the 3 (Disney) DVDs.

I think BB intensionally set the 30% off anime coupon in their Winter '06 version of the Animerica magazine to expire last weekend, since the Miyazaki's DVDs will be coming out soon. 30% off = $6 off each one would have been a better deal :p Well, perhaps they might have a similar coupon in the next issue of the magazine!

The Best Buy I went to also had The Hills Have Eyes and The Warriors as part of the Buy 2 Get 1 Free sale. Also, they had several copies of the 2 disc set of Charlie And The Chocolate Factory in the section, so I managed to get it included and at the reduced price. So, I got Charlie And The Chocolate Factory Deluxe, The Hills Have Eyes 2 Disc and Ong Bak: Thai Warrior for $30.

If anyone received the coupons to use this weekend, the 10% off one would help out some on this set. But it does say "excludes new release dvds". Is that for the newest of releases or does that cover titles that have been out for a few weeks?

Just an FYI, their ad is saying $22.99 for S6 of Threes Company, but I went to 2 Best Buys today and both had it for $19.99
