from at&t website:

In addition to the new tag line, the ads also feature the hit song "All Around the World" by the popular British band Oasis. The flagship TV ad, "Eclipse," shows images of the earth juxtaposed with shots of people worldwide communicating while an eclipse — symbolizing two companies coming together — forms the new AT&T.

LOL... yeah it is Oasis, from their "Be Here Now" album. Not really a new thing though, since they also used one of their songs in a "Victoria's Secret" commercial a few years back.

The voice is most certainly Liam's. And whether or not they've been sell-outs before (or are so now), I've always read interviews with them discounting everyone else about selling out, which makes the whole thing even more of a riot.

I think they're older now, more mature, and they realize that there are worse things in life than getting a fat check in the mail from some clueless corporation's advertisements.

Nay, I think they realize they can't sell records anymore.

That's in stark contrast to the fact that Don't Believe The Truth hit #1 in the UK charts, and #12 in the States.

I didn't even realize that's an AT&T commercial.

But I was thinking, "He can't be talking about all around the world right?"

This sellout concept is nonsense. If someone offers me $1m to play my song over a commercial, show me where to sign.

Forget about record sales, Oasis is still on top with my generation.

I went to Blossom Music Center, an amphitheater outside of Cleveland. First of all, the place is nearly sold out on a COOOL October 1st night. Second of all, for the last encore, "My Generation", people ran on the stage hugging, kissing and hanging with the band. I would say the ENTIRE front section, about 60 people did so. The was the coolest thing I ever witnessed.

So who cares if Oasis can't sell any records, we're all downloading off filesharers!
