it'll probably be that or less come the Sunday prior, but you got a month so no one will know for sure.

Since Universal is also releasing a 1-disc edition (probably will be around $15), I doubt you'll find this one for under $19.98 (unless FYE has a rebate offer).

It would seem to be a little early to get the true sale prices on this set. With that being said....

With the talk of an extended edition similar in the vein of the LOTR trilogy...I'll pass on the two disc set and stick with the single.

Yep most likely it'll be around $20.00 with the 2 disc probably close to $15.00.

I also will stick with the 1 disc since we have an EE on the horizon.

Tower Records (http://www.tower.com) has the King Kong 2-disc on pre-order for just $16.99 (the 1-disc is only $14.99)...that's 50% off. They also offer free shipping for orders over $20.

I've had good luck with Tower for pre-orders in the past. They usually ship the previous Friday before the release date...at worst they will ship on the release date. If you have any problems with the DVD then you can return/exchange at any local Tower store (if you can find one).

Also if you preorder 2 DVDs with different release dates (in my case, I ordered King Kong along with Narnia), they will ship them both separately at no extra cost.
