Is the Extended Edition of Underworld Worth getting?

I was thinking of picking it up but I want to make sure it's worth it since I already have the Superbit edition

I didn't notice too much difference in the film itself, a little bit of Scott Speedman's backstory maybe. There are a lot of extras on the disc if that is what you are interested in.

I think the EE really fleshes out the story. Fills you in on Michael's history, the Corvin legacy, and the sexual tension/history between Kraven and Erika, which was, IMO, a key part of the story, given
Spoiler:
Erika fuckin' hated Selene..

It's worth it for the extra fleshing of the story, for the bonus materials, and because the packaging is sharp.

I think you can still get the 2 disc SE w/ Bonus disc pretty cheap at various places ($13), so pick it up if you're interested.

Picked it up pretty cheap with the free ticket to Evolution from Best Buy. Added a bit.

If you liked the movie (as I'm assuming you did), then you'll find the extended version of the movie to be better and well worth getting. Like many have said, it fleshes out the story more which is a good thing for the movie. If you didn't like the movie, the extended cut won't change your opinion of the film, but it's definitely an improvement over the original.

It's not worth getting (right now) because it's still $23-$26, and that's a "cheap" price.

Man... this thing's 2 years old already, come May, price drop already!!! GOSH.
