suprised this is getting such good reviews, might actually see it, even some are saying Paul Walker is actually pretty good in it
"An emotionally gripping survival story with jaw-dropping cinematography, a straightforward sense of Antarctic danger and, brace yourself, good work from Paul Walker.""

Its been a few weeks since Ive been to the movies, but Ive been wanting to see it. Although I think the dogs will probably put in better performances than Paul Walker.

I was in Hollywood the past weekend and was driving by El Capitan with a couple of friends. They were having the premiere there and Paul Walker was being interviewed right as we were stopped at the light. That was pretty cool. First time I've seen a celebrity in person that close. I didn't know anything about the movie 'til then, but after seeing the trailer online I might go see it.

My brother works for Buena Vista, they had a screening at their office this week. He said it was really good, and heart-breaking. He also said Walker doesn't try go outside of his range in this one. Bring tissues, he said.

Well,
I will say that I, and many other people, get more emotional when animals are in danger than they ever will with humans. If you have a man trying to save a woman from a psycho who will surely kill her, audience will yawn. Same scenario except he is trying to save a basket of puppies, everyone is tensed.

I'm the same way, kill a person in a movie..meh so what. But kill an animal and I have a hard time watching it. That is actually the reason why I'm not too keen on seeing this film in theaters. I heard...
Can anybody who saw the film tell me...
Thanks.

I saw this 2 weeks ago at a preview screening. I wanted to see it but then it started and wasn't too sure I liked how it started. But by the end, I really liked it. I was surprised and I can relate to it. I mean, it's essentially about love, but it's a love that doesn't make me cringe..like in movies like Just Like Heaven. I think kids will be bored by it, honestly. It's not Snow Dogs (which is what I accidentally kept calling it). But I saw a lot of choked-up adults and couples. Good movie.

Uh...with a few exceptions(Pixar productions,Pirates of the Caribbean, Narnia) Disney hasn't had a very good track record as of late.
