Universal HD- USA and Sci-Fi
Flipping through HD channels last night I came across the dog show in HD. I figured it was a repeat, but it was live and the same as on USA. Now if they can simultaneously for the dog show on USA and UHD, why don't they do the same with Sci-Fi shows or USA shows?
I would love to see BSG in HD at the same time, or even the next day.

I'd guess it's because sports and events like dog shows don't have the same 'repeat' value that something like BSG would have.

My feeling is that they should use UDH as the HD channel for USA and Sci-Fi. This would allow the few with UHD to get their great content in HD, and would not affect the regular subscribers/viewers.

If it's any consolation, there isn't going to be a delay between airing the two halves of season 2 of BSG in high-definition -- their March schedule shows it going straight through.

I was excited to discover this weekend that my cable company had added Universal HD. Was looking forward to re-watching some eps. of BG in HD. Unfortunately, it's not closed captioned, however. Any reason why it wouldn't be if it's CC'd on Sci-Fi in its original airing?
