Gamestop Employee Dvd Hoarding
I've recently learned that a few of the local Gamestops have employees who regularly hoard and rent out dvds that are recently traded in. I am not fully aware of GS's policy on this, but this does seem unfair to customers. I'm sure that many employees will keep the dvds they want to purchase for themselves, but it does irritate me that they openly keep dvds to themselves to watch like it's a Blockbuster video. I wanted to know if anybody had the scoop on GS's corporate wide stance on this is. Should I report to this somebody higher up on the company food chain? I recall a successful campaign to reverse their annoying habit of displaying their used dvds face out so a complaint may be worthwhile.

Never heard of renting them out to employees! I think if they have crack at seeing a DVD come in, they deserve to buy them. But last week I found a Gladiator 3-disc Extended for signature edition price of 9.99. The clerk got very excited and verablly jealous of the find, then declared it was "lost" and couldnt find the discs. Benefit of the doubt though...

My cousin who used to work at gamestop said he got to borrow games for the night just as long as it doesn't get damaged. I thought he was lying but I have read about other gamestop employees doing the same. So I'm not really surprised about this.
