They need more Barney/Robin-centric eps.

The dialogue just keeps getting worse. I'm actually starting to feel sorry for the actors. If Alyson weren't so incredibly sexy, there's no way I could sit through this nonsense.

I agree that Barney + Robin was the only entertaining part.

I enjoyed every scene that didn't have Ted in it. He's just not charismatic at all.

I actually wasn't all that annoyed by Hannigan in this one. Lily and Marshall have a cute chemistry. The peeing thing was silly but I enjoyed the ragging on Ted.

I loved the look Robin gave the woman in the bar when she left with Barney.

"Quid pro bro." "Birthday suited up!" Barney had some good ones in this episode.

Marshall & Lily have been together nine years and had never peed in front of each other? That was weird. And why didn't they just go out the bathroom window? They've both done that in a previous episode. Just looking for a little continuity.

Once again, the night belonged to Barney, this time with Robin along for the ride. From the cigar club to the bar to the laser tag to Robin's apartment, it was all great.

"The only time you should wait for a month to have sex is if the girl is 17 and 11 months old."

I thought Marshall and Lily in the bathroom mocking Ted's cheesy love lines was pretty funny.

Robin and Barney were great as well.

"Ted, the only reason to wait a month for sex is if the girl is 17 years 11 months old"

Marshall: "You're answering it? He's answering it!"
Lily: "No! Do her! Do her now!!"

Not the best episode, but I liked that it was less Ted-centric and Ted's friends making fun of him when he's not around.

Robin : "Ted can't be pregnant. You need to have sex to get pregnant"
Barney: "What up! Freeze-frame high five!!"

Another repeat next week

Loved Robin suited up! Very hot!

But for me Alyson Hannigan stole the show with her pajama pants with "PINK" on the ass!

I loved her line to Marshall....."Just grab my boob!"

Agreed. And they have already established Lily as being far from a prude, so that just didn't seem to jibe with her character.

Solid episode, especially non-Ted stuff.

Was there no Saget/kids segment?

If they can just incorporate a face transplant storyline for Ted, and get a guy who is as charismatic as everyone else on the cast, then I'll probably stick with the show for it's run.

oh, and Veronica's annoying.

I love everything about this show except Ted.

Ted is like an uglier, even less funny Jimmy Fallon.

Why would they, or any couple, intentionally seek out the opportunity to pee in front of each other?

great episode. I'm just happy to have a comedy I watch that I actually care about the characters (not since Friends left).

I predict nominations for Neil Patrick Harris for best supporting actor in a comedy series.

It's not as if you seek out the opportunity - it just happens occasionally during the hustle and flow of every day life as a couple.

I agree...However, this and KOQ are the only 2 sitcoms I watch. Well, never mind. I guess the Office and Scrubs are as well, but for some reason I never think of those 2 as sitcoms. But I find this show pretty entertaining, even very funny at times, sans the douche known as Ted.

Wow, a lot of Ted haters here. I actually really like Ted - this is one of the few sitcoms where I genuinely like each of the characters. Ted, I suppose, because he seems the most realistic to me. I've had friends just like Ted. Hell, maybe I'm Ted. He's very relatable to me.

yeah, but in that episode (the one where marshall and lilly threw a "wine and cheese" party), the narration even admitted it was unbelievable that they went out the bathroom window. Basically saying they swear it happened, but he didn't believe them.

i am definitely sticking with this show. i love all the characters. Ted is the weakest, but he's SUPPOSED to be cheesy.

And is it just me, but did victoria look REALLY weird in this episode?

Zap2it is reporting that
Spoiler:
Alexis Denisof, Wesley from the shows Buffy & Angel, and real-life husband of Alyson Hannigan
will be a guest star for a few future episodes. Should be interesting.

I think Ashley Williams (Victoria) is carrying some extra poundage, which makes her face look a little puffy, and her arms are a little rounder too.
