I've received numerous T-shirts from major companies over the years and wear them lovingly to work in. In fact I'm wearing one of the freebie T's from IBM right now that says, "Hello? Helloooo? Can anyone help me? " on the front and the back of the T-shirt has an IBM customer service logo on it.

I've probably received about 50 freebie "advertisement" t-shirts, so far.
However, at least half of these didn't allow a choice of t-shirt size, and were size XL (oversized for me).
