Whats different on the upcoming hills have eyes dvd?

Now that the remake is coming out i have finally decided to buckle down and buy this horror classic. I went on amazon and aparently theres a new version coming out march 7th and its 13.99 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...v=glance&n=130

They also have the current disc and its 21.99

what are the differences?

There's a new one comming out? I didn't know that. I have held off getting this for what reason I don't know but if there's a better release comming I'll have to hold out longer. I'd like to know also which one will be the better release.

Probably just a price-drop.

Yeah, it's more than likely a single-disc edition (probably just disc 1 of the current SE). They want to attract some customers who see the remake and get curious about the original, but don't care enough to shell out $20 for the full monty.

It would be the UMD, Universal Mini Disc? One of those game player things, I guess? Went with the DDD price of 11.99, it says 2 disc for that,

as others have mentioned it would be a single-disc edition. sort of what Anchor Bay did with Day of The Dead after it's initial 2-disc digipak release.
