I hate to say it, but this seriously does not sound too good.

i think TNA is dropping the ball with Sting.....
the storyline is getting really dumb with Jackie Gayda....

Yeah, the Sting thing is weird. If its a work I don't get it. However, if Sting decided he didn't really want to do it again TNA may have had no choice but to end it the way they did.
Jackie Gayda is a complete waste of space. No idea why they would sign her.
TNA is a show with a lot of promise and they had done some good things, but I'm really not sure a JJ vs Christian main event is going to be the thing to draw in anyone. I'm hoping the Christian thing will be a roundabout swerve to bring Sting back and then turn on him because Christian is a lousy face. Don't know though. They really need to get the belt off of JJ though. Even putting it on a face like AJ Styles and having him battle off JJ and his forces for a year would be better than the direction they seem to be going now.

So we get squash matches, and a tag team tournament to see who will lose to AMW. I mean, I hope they legitimize their tag team division, but I don't see AMW losing the belts to these guys, since even the Naturals haven't really been given a good build-up on SPIKE. My guess is that Team Canada gets screwed somehow by the Dudleys, though.
The Sting thing seems to be a work. If it is, though, I see no reason for it. First, two weeks ago they hype the first appearance of Sting, and he doesn't show (for that hour, at least). Last week, he shows at the end, but retires? For no reason, other than he wanted a last match to say goodbye? Meanwhile, the crowd's confused because everyone know's he signed for a year. My only hope is that this means Christian gets a legit chance to take the title, at least for a little while.

christian with the belt is a good thing but what are his legitmate opponents... man ... TNA needs a Heavyweight makeover

Well, I look forward to the AJ Styles/Jay Lethal match.. more of an X-Division style that I see Lethal really shining in. However, I see possible interference from Daniels or Shannon Moore. :(
And at least TNA has a tag team division. And the matches don't look, too bad...
I don't see the need for the press conference tho. It's an hour show, guys.. between this and the Gayda/JJ thing, it's already taking up too much time.

how long before we get 30min. JJ promos? how long before the wrestling matches take a backseat to everything else?

Well, with the existing roster, they still have Jarrett, Monty Brown, and Abyss. I could easily see Rhyno going up against him. Joe should probably solidify himself in the Xdivision, but he could easily move up. I'd actually like to see Christian turn heel and have a fued with AJ. And I know they said they weren't going to sign anyone for a while, but they do drop Jericho's name a lot.
That's a little better than even the X-division, where clearly Styles, Daniels, and Joe are the top and everyone else seems second-tier. Or the tag team division, with AMW and the Dudleys and their second tier (team canada fodder, x-division teamups, the naturals, diamonds in the rough).

TNA is going to primetime in September (not confirmed) so I would say October 1st at the latest.

It will be but in the meantime Impact has been kinda slacking. Yesterday's show was pretty slow.

TNA in general is better than WWE, but they need to have more marquee matches on TV to keep peeople watching. Last week they had their highest rating, they follow up with a bunch of squashes which will probably turn off most people tuning in for the 2nd time.
I hate to say but between Raw Smackdown and Impact, TNA had the weekest show this week.

I wouldn't say squashes except for Rhino's and LAX's match. But the big squash will be at the PPV.. I mean Aries/Strong to face AMW (No way they'd send Sonjay/Sabin)? -rolleyes-

The show was kinda slow. I wish Lethal had gotten a better chance to show what he can do. I actually did like the Press Conference. I was suprised they didn't mention Aries/Strong are the current Ring of Honor champs. There really wasn't much else of note on the show.
