I love the Omen, but will people actual know that this trailer is for a remake of the omen... it's just a kid in a red coat sitting on a swing looking creepy and then "666"... If I hadn't clicked a link saying "THE OMEN TRAILER" I would have just thought it was another shitty "end of days" type movie... hopefully the marketing department gets their shit together...

The trailer wouldn't work for me. Not sure it matters. With the crappy horror remakes lately I don't have much hope for this being any good.

The teaser kinda sucked, I guess. I would have preferred him to look over his shoulder like the original movie.
I enjoyed the original quite a bit. Since this one comes out a couple of days before my birthday, I may check it out. It'll depend on how the actual trailer looks.

STOP LOOKING AT ME!!!!!
Well, the original is a materpiece but that trailer freaked me out (I easily get freaked out by these types of films though).
Lighten up for now gang, I say give it a chance. You can't really judge a damn thing by that trailer (and at least they will be using those freaky dogs).

I liked it. Simple and effective. It'll be fun seeing that trailer in a filled theater.
I don't care what anyone says, Ice Cube was great in that.

At least they had the creepy dogs.

On Friday I went ot a movie and during the trailers the theater's sound system screwed up and the MovieTunes music was playing over the trailers. This trailer came up with some Wyclef Jean rap song about Rwanda in the background. It was actually a pretty funny juxtaposition.

Although one could take the kids' singing from that song and make it sound scary anyway.

I have mixed feelings. The Omen is one of my favorite movies, with the series being close to my heart (with the exception of the abortion that is part four) I think a readaption would be cool ONLY if they did it right and didn't cheapen it with current Hollywood ignorance. I guess I'll sit here and wait with bated breath. Will I give it a chance? Yes. Did it NEED a remake? No.

While I certainly don't think this needed to be made, I really liked that preview. Of course, in a month or two we'll have one that's basically a 2-minute cut of the entire movie, but oh well.
