Scrubs...wtf?

if someone asked me what tv shows i liked, somewhere towards the end of the list i would say Scrubs. I caught a only a few episodes during it's first season but i liked what i saw a lot. It had a good qwerky/off beat sense of humor. But due to night classes, working nights, and just having other stuff to do, i haven't really watched this show since a handful of episodes in it's first season. i planned on getting the dvds, as now with most shows, if i catch a few episodes and like it enough i stop watching it and wait for the dvds (CYE, AD, 24, and now recently lost for season 2, are good examples.)

The new girl i have been seeing has a DVR and one night when i couldn't sleep i flipped through what she had recorded and saw a few Scrubs shows. I thought i was in for a treat. but, i barely found it watchable. the two guys acted like brainless idiots, like straight out of dumb and dumber or dude wheres my car.

is my memory faulty, were their characters always like this?

I watched a few of the first episodes and just re-started it this season, and it seems like the same show to me

It's not your memory that's faulty, but there's definitely something amiss if you don't think Scrubs is superterrifichilarious.

Just get the DVDs. Watching a random episode or two may just confuse you.

My wife always thought it was stupid until I sat down with her and we went through the season 1 DVDs. Now she loves it!

Yep, my wife started watching randomly last season, but the Season 1 DVDs turned her into a bigger fan.

She got me season 2 for Christmas. A week later, we had finished it.
