Hollywood Video 1/$10 PV DVD+ Coupon Loopholes
I thought I'd share an interesting experience I had at work tonight. Recently, Hollywood issued a set of Fantastic Four themed coupons. 2 $0.99 rental coupons, a R1G1, and a BOGOF. The expiration date read 1/21, which was Saturday night. In addition, in an effort to boost PVM DVD sales, Hollywood has decided to honor the $3/30 sale price on single titles too, i.e. $15 PV's are $10, $7.99 titles are $4.99.
That said, I didn't bother using my employee account, but did the following, in this particular order.
I picked up "Four Brothers" and "Bad News Bears", both mint because I hand picked them a week ago. Had them both scanned, then scanned the BOGO coupon. $14.99 was the total before tax. Then, I had the 3 for $30 PV DVD coupon scanned.........
$10.64 for "Four Brothers" and "Bad News Bears". Of course, YRMV, and while the coupons have expired, Hollywood has a tendency to honor them up to a week after their expiration, so give it a try!

A lady checking out Saturday night tried giving me her coupons. I didn't need them as I have the MVP, but it was nice of her to offer.

I thought it was kind of funny, another experience last night. I scanned two copies of "The Island", used the 3/$30 coupon, then the BOGOF, and it came up FREE! Naturally, I didn't honor the sale, but because the coupons reduce the line, and the title is the same, only the quantity is different, it only shows on one line.
