I have never been less interested in an SNL. Not a big fan of Sarsgaard. Disappointed in the last couple of Strokes CDs (although I didn't give the latest one much of a chance yet). The Carol promo does not bode well at all.

On the other hand, as I mentioned in the other thead, I don't think that I have ever looked forward to an SNL as much as the Steve Martin/Prince episode.

I swear to God, if we have to deal with a "Carol" skit tonight, I will fly out to New York and unload a clip into Sanz's unfunny fucking face. Why the man hasn't been banned from appearing on any sort of media device is beyond me.

I've liked Sarsgaard's work, but he doesn't come off as a comedic actor. I think The Strokes are okay, but nothing I personally enjoy. So, in a nutshell, I'm not really looking to tonight's episode. [But like everyone else, I can't wait for the Steve Martin/Prince episode.]

not all that enthused about this...but then again he could be the kind of host that could really surprise....he's talented, but we'll have to see if that translates to snl.

I'll give Saarsgard a chance, but I'm really excited for the Martin/Prince show. I'll be ffwing the Strokes, don't care for them.

I'll be watching the Strokes, but i haven't made up my mind if I'll even bother with any of the "comedy".

I concur.

And I liked Hammond's Jesse Jackson in the opening.

And the Target sketch isn't anything special, but Wiig is amazing - they nead to make her a primary cast member.
