Gamecube wireless controllers? Wavebird or KO's?
I tried a search to see if this had been discussed recently, but no real luck unless I'm a moran.
I'm looking to get a couple of wireless controllers for my GC. I know the Wavebirds get rave reviews, but what about the Knockoff-type brands?
The appeal is that they are $10 or $15 (BB) cheaper.
Any recommended or to avoid?
Thanks in advance.

3rd party controllers, even the best ones (Logitech), still fall way short of their 1st party counterparts.
Getting anything other than a Wave Bird would be a huge error on your part (other than the extra $10 you saved).

Check your local Gamestops or EBs. Sometimes you can find a good deal on used Wavebirds. I was able to find 2 used WBs for $19 each, I think they normally gor for $25 used, but they haven't given me a problem so far.
Personally, as far as the Wavebird goes, I'd stick with 1st party.
