DVD burners????
I'm thinking about buying a DVD burner, to convert all my VHS to DVD's. I don't want to spend a fortune on one. Does anyone have any suggestions or burners I should possibley look in to?

I assume you're talking about a standalone DVR?
There are several threads in here already on the subject. You could probably do a search on Panasonic or Pioneer to find some of them.

I bought a simple Panasonic ES10 (now replaced by the ES20) a few months ago for my dad. It's pretty basic and easy to use, supposedly has a good noise reduction filter.
Perfect for converting VHS to DVDs. If you plan on doing a lot of editing the experts recommend getting one with a hard drive but, obviously, they cost more. Actually, I bought two, one for myself too, but I haven't done much more than record TV programs using it basically as a VCR.
