Pink Tint

Hi,
I just got an Insignia home theatre DVD. When I hook up the DVD to my Toshiba TV using the component cables (colorstream) The picture has a pink tint. The sound is fine and the picture is clear but no color, just a pink tint. If I don't use the 3 wire component set and run it with the S-cable it works fine. Is it possible I'm doing something wrong or does this sound like a defective dvd unti? Any help will be appreciated.

Make sure you have the cables going to the correct three jacks.

Make sure your DVD player is set to output via component and not just s-video.

Hey!!!! That was it! There was a setting for S-cable and component buried inside the set up mode. thanks a million!
