Media Blaster's Psycho Killers three-pack (1-31-06)

Similar to their previous Zombie pack which I loved, three good movies for a good price. It's cheaper elsewhere, but dvdempire has the picture.

http://dvdempire.com/Exec/v4_item.as...d=763810&tab=5

It's House on the Edge of the Park, Delirium, and Beyond Darkness. Just like the Zombie back which had Zombie 3, 4, and 5, the single prices of these DVDs are more than this three DVD set, so I can't wait. I've been wanting House on the Edge of the Park for awhile now, so this is great! They're also releasing a Bikers Running Wild three pack as well:

http://dvdempire.com/exec/v4_item.as...item_id=763813

That includes Hells Angels 69, Run Angel Run, and Hells Bloody Devils.

I think that's all for now, but I hope for more from them.

It's House on the Edge of the Park, Delirium, and Beyond Darkness.
It figures. I've owned all these for some time now.

Does Hells Bloody Devils have a Joe Bob Briggs commentary?

Cuz if so, we'd have our first Joe Bob trilogy!

These aren't going to be new versions of the DVDs, just the three sold together, I'm pretty sure . At least it was that way for the Zombie Pack.

The psycho killer pack is actually pretty good. Better bang for your buck then those awful Zombie flicks.

House On The Edge Of The Park was directed by Ruggero Deodato (Cannibal Holocaust) for everybody who doesn't know. It's a pretty good sleazeploitation film.

Delirium is an o.k. Giallo with a real hot busty actress.

Don't know much about Beyond Darkness except I think it's a D'Amato film. He's known for sleaze.

Wow, House on the Edge of Park and Beyond the Darkness are actually two of the very few shriek show releases I've seen. I'd recommend both. Beyond the Darkness is a very moody, dreary film with some really cool gore in it. Won't leave you happy, but it's worth a viewing.

Hey, those Zombies movies are fun to watch.

><

How 'bout that Zombie 5: Killing Birds, lol. The title in the actual movie doesn't even have Zombie in it from what I remember.

I thought Zombi 3 was pretty darn entertaining. Zombi 4 was pretty darn dull. Zombi 5 (the one with no zombies) was kind of half and half. So in my book, the Zombie set was one-and-a-half fun movies. But for the price (and I got mine during DDD 20% sale), a pretty good buy, no doubt.

The Serial Killer set looks very interesting, especially since I don't own any of the three. House on the Edge of the Park is the only film I'm familiar with, and I know it's a keeper, so this set sounds like a must have, too.

These sets are starting to be addictive!
I picked up the "Psycho Killers" set last month and had a blast with it (Though I had seen House/Park & Beyond/Darkness before)
And now I just placed an order for the "Bikers" set (Haven't seen Bloody Devils yet)

I've seen the "Zombie" set in stores along with another tie-in that's got Jungle Holocaust,Eaten Alive and something else.

Any word on more of these 3-Packs to come?

I just bought the Psycho Killers pack at BB for 14.99. I hope they're good because I haven't seen any of them yet.

Mondo, Shriek Show has also released a set called Post Apocalyptic Triple Feature with After The Fall Of New York, 1990: Bronx Warriors, and The New Barbarians. I've never seen any of them, so I can't speak for their quality, but I'm sure you can count on them for some cheesy 1980's Euro-exploitation fun.

Much like the Zombie set, I found the Psycho Killers pack to be a mixed bag. House by the Edge of the Park was great - an absolute sleaze classic. Beyond the Darkness was grim and off-putting, and surprisingly serious in tone, but chock full of gruesome weirdness for exploitation fans.

I thought Delirium was pretty dull actually, by comparison to the other two (admittedly over-the-top) films. It was actually originally produced for Italian TV, so that should give a clue about relatively tame it is.

Thanks for the heads up. At least now I know where my expectations should lie with regards to the busty Italian actress It sounds like it's still a good buy for 14.99.

I'm bummed that Media Blaster's was excluded from the DDD sale! These would have been great deals.

Anybody else been gobbling these up lately? My other additions were "Wicked Women" and "SS triple pack" (AKA Nazisploitation trilogy)

The "British Horror" pack looks to be next on my list.

I'm planning on grabbing the British horror pack. I'd also like the SS pack. There's almost no reason to buy some of MB individual releases when they keep putting these things out.

I really want to pick up that SS pack as well.

Reminds me that I've yet to pick up Shriek Show's release of Elsa Fraulin

Do these sets have all three movies in one individual keepcase, or are all three movies given their own keepcases and then just shrinkwrapped together?

A few I've noticed and/or picked up and/or sold off over the years (and one of the reasons I never buy Shreik Show/Media Blasters/Tokyo Shock stuff on first release). Titles should be as they appear at Amazon.

Jungle Girls Triple Feature
Evil Animals Triple Feature
Martial Arts Package - Triple Feature
Psycho Killers Triple Feature
Demons Triple Feature Pack
Cannibal Lunch Box Triple Feature
Wicken Women Triple Feature
Jungle Horror Triple Feature
Art of the Gun Triple Feature (Japanese movies)
Mutant Monsters Triple Feature
Post Apocalyptic Triple Feature
Grindhouse Psychos Triple Feature
British Horror Quadruple Feature (Pete Walker stuff)
SS Hell Pack (as noted above)
Vampire Triple Feature
Tokyo Shock Horror Pack Triple Feature (Japanese movies)
Bloody School Girls - Triple Feature
Euro Trash: Triple Feature
High School Horrors Triple Feature
Bikers From Hell Triple Feature
Midnight Movie Collection (4 Steckler films)
Midnight Movie Collection 2 (4 more Steckler films)

I'd imagine we'll eventually see their Shaw Brothers titles released this way, for those hesitant to take the plunge.

One more quick question: Are the titles the exact same as the individual releases? Specifically, are the titles that are 2-disc special editions packaged as is, or do they only package the first disc and leave out the bonus features?
