Movie scenes: Group sings on a bus ride

Group sings on a bus ride

I was watching It Happened One Night and when the scene came on where they sang The Man on the Flying Trapeze on the bus...

It made me think of the Tiny Dancer scene in Almost Famous...

and then I remembered them singing Meet the Flintstones in Planes, Trains and Automobiles

Anyone know of anymore of these scenes?

In "Get on the Bus" they sing James Brown's "Papa Don't Take no Mess."

If we include trains "A Hard Day's Night" would top my list.

There was one in Road Trip (if your counting short buses).

There was some movie about a summer acting camp that had them all doing a Sondheim number, don't remember the name... Came out in the last couple years.

If we're also going for a train-like bus ride, then let's add the movie The Commitments with the band singing "Destination Anywhere."

first one that came to my mind...."Welcome to the Dollhouse"....it's the closing shot of the movie....the kids sing the Mickey Mouse club theme song....great movie!

Not sure if train rides count, but I always crack up when Pee Wee Herman rides with the homeless man in "Pee Wee's Big Adventure"....at first, they are having a blast singing ("JImmy crack corn, and I don't care.....")....then, Pee Wee is disgusted at the guy's bad breath....hilarious!

Streets of Fire...

The Sorels do a great a capella doo wop number "Countdown to Love" after their tour bus is hijacked by Michael Pare, Amy Madigan, et al. One of the coolest numbers in a movie loaded with pretty decent songs.
