Big Momma's House 2 looks awful

Everytime a preview for this comes on tv, I can't believe how bad it looks. I thought the original had its moments but was nothing special. Honestly this looks unwatchable.

I didn't like the original at all and everytime I see the trailer for this one, I want to poke my eyes out... if I had the choice of going to the HOSTEL or sitting through this movie, I'd take my chances in the basement of that warehouse....

Hes never done one movie I like. I think hes highly over rated and I find him annoying. This movie just makes his "career" look even more laughable.

Well, they made a sequel to Underworld so anything's possible.

First one made money. Lots of it.

There should be no surprise.

However, the first one came out SIX YEARS AGO.

The time frame to release this sequel has passed and then some.

I could argue that there never was a time frame good for this sequel, but the point is the material clicked once, nobody should be amazed that Fox is looking for it to click again.

The problem with that is that Fox is looking for it to click again too late. If they wanted to do a sequel to Big Momma's House, it should've been out before 2003. The audience that made the first film a hit has now grown up (and hopefully matured), and the now present day "younger" audience who could make this sequel a hit probably hasn't even seen the first outing (therefore, they have zero interest in it). Anybody that demanded a sequel to this movie probably has no interest in it now.

Long story short, Annapolis and Nanny McPhee are going to kick it's ass.

What is with FOX and these useless sequels these days? Jeez. First Cheaper by the Dozen 2 (which I haven't seen, but I did mildly enjoy the first one so I'll still see it), and now Big Momma's House 2 which really doesn't look good. Come on. Oh, apparently there was going to be a Direct to DVD release for Dr. Dolittle (minus Eddie Murphy, of course) but now it is going to be released theatrically. Yippie, Dr. Dolittle 3 (insert sarcastic note here).

Dr. Dolittle: Animal Husbandry Gone Wild.

Oh, and BMH2 looks horrendous, but...did you expect anything more (or less)? Not me.

I don't think Big Momma's House 2 or Dr. Doolittle 3 are going to make money.
