I did not see a thread. I am watching on a delay, so I just saw Rachel Wiesz win. I was hoping for Michelle Williams, but I did not see either movie.
I wanted to see Michelle and her nursing boobs, but I noticed Rachel had some big ones going on. Did she just have a baby? I saw Busy Phillips sitting next to Michelle Williams, I guess she is baby Matilda's god-mother.

Well I'm hotelling in Chicago this week, so I figured I'd watch this, and catch 24 in HD on the Tivo when I get back. For the 24'ers that are checking in after it's over, Steve Carell's acceptance speech is definately worth checking out.

Portman looked great w/ the short hair. And Scarlett.
Happy as hell that Hugh Laure, Steve Carell and Mary Louise Parker won.
Glad Weisz won even though I haven't seen the film yet.
Disappointed at the fact that Sandra Oh won.
Drew Barrymore did look like shite.

I loved Chris Rock's presentation of the TV actress award. "Eva Longoria - Chico & The Man"
As I suspected Mary-Louise Parker swooped in and grabbed it from the Housewives. I guess maybe this will prevent them from arguing with each other over who won.
Now Mary-Louise Parker could taunt Billy Crudup (who dumped her when she was 7 months pregnant) "Where's your Golden Globe, golden god?"

Too bad Piven didn't win.
Melanie Griffith looks like such a hoosier w/ that hideous tattoo.
Gwyneth is so damn gorgeous.

I'm really happy Philip Seymour Hoffman won. His performance in Sydney, Boogie Nights, Happiness, Talented Mr Ripley and Almost Famous turned me into a fan. Half of his movies on imdb have a rating of 7 and better, pretty impressive. Though that is probably more a skill in picking good roles and movies.
