Stopped in the Suncoast here to burn a GC and they are having a Buy 2 Get 1 Free on used DVDs sale.
They also had a sale going, 2/$23, 3/$33 or 4/$40 on DVDs $12.99-$14.99.
While I realize their prices are terrible, this might be good for people with GC's to burn, and I did find some decent prices on used stuff in very good shape.
Don't know if this is nationwide, this applies to the one at the Sun Valley Mall in Concord, CA.

I was at the store in Chesterfield MO yesterday and that store is going to be closed near the end of this month. Almost all non-DVD merchandise was 50% off. I got a Sin City poster for $4.00 a Dawn of the Dead poster for $3.49 and an Aqua Teen Hunger Force T Shirt for $5.50. Lots of good prices on action figures and movie related items. I don't know if there are any other stores to be closed or not.

This was going on at the Exton, PA store also. The thing that I found funny, was my store has such a small selection of used stuff. I couldn't find anything good or that I didn't already have.

Yes, in DFW, some stores have a Used section (which surprised me). No closing here....yet or discounts on non-movie merchandise that I have seen.
Same sales B2G1 Used // 4/$40
AND ALSO
B1 Get 1 50% Doctor Who's (not great but as said above - for those who may need to burn GC's or Replay dollars).

I haven't wandered into Suncoast for many months - might be the time to check them out again. As I recall, the store (Manhattan Mall at Herald Square) had a large used section.

The Kings Plaza Brooklyn store has the same deal. The Used section is supposedly in alphabetical order but it's not even close. Use your GC for some quick 14.99 titles and then get out of Dodge.

sometimes deal can be found here, although rarely. My sister found a G.I. Joe season 1 part 2 for 22.## here used a week before christmas....

Pretty sure the company that owns Suncoast just filed for bankruptcy...keep those eyes open for more clearance-type deals.

I think that was just Mediaplay for now, although things might have changed.
They also have 50% off their clearance toys - if anyone stopping into Suncoast stumbles across a Hordak Masters of the Universe statue figure I'd be most appreciative if you can pick it up for me. No Suncoasts near me have any left.

The one I was in before I posted this has BOXES (at least 5 large ones) that were shipped in from somewhere and were full of used DVDs that have not been priced and put on the shelf. I guessing they came from a store that closed.
