DFW CompUSA 50% off DVDs 01/12 only

Ad in Dallas Morning News Section A states that the new Frisco CompUSA has DVDs 50% off on 01/12 only, limit 2 per person. Selection probably won't be that extensive, but a possible price match opportunity.

Is this a NEW CompUSA or just the one next to Stone Briar mall?

On the radio they made it seem new, but I can't imagine how Frisco can support more than one. The compusa website still only shows one Frisco location. Maybe some sort of re-launch or just a promotion.

Thanks, I'll check it out. I don't know what kind of selection CompUSA has. I'm guessing mostly newer releases.

It's the one by Stonebriar and it's a grand re-opening. They remodeled the store as a "test store" I believe. Supposedly they expanded the HT area (more TV's, audio equipment, etc.). And as someone mentioned earlier, the prices are for tomorrow (Friday). They're having many sales tomorrow:

50% off yamaha receiver, klipsch floor speakers, sony camcorder, $100 off any TV $1000 or more, etc.

Stopped by there this morning. A ton of people there (local chamber of commerce, manufacturers reps, 200 employees, etc.). They had an OK selection of DVD's. Mostly newer stuff on 4 of those spinning racks (4 sided) and then 2 bins full.

They have a limit of 2 titles per person, but I sweet talked my way into getting 3. Bought Cinderella man, mr. and mrs. smith and fantastic 4 for $9.99 apiece.

Not many sets, but I saw a couple of Seinfeld seasons that you could get for about $20.
They mostly had newer stuff at $19.99 and $14.99 and a rack of titles that were $9.99 ($5.00 for today).
