I liked the BD Java demo better. The menu structure was more dynamic. It looks like they can do more with it which I would expect because it uses Java. Also the "game" looked kind of cool... wasn't that a game they were playing which allowed the user to control one of the movie characters? I didn't expect that the "game" feature would interest me, but I admit that piqued my interest a little.
The iHD sample looked kind of bland by comparison and also it looked like you had to pay money to make a copy of the disc... I thought you were allowed to make a backup copy for free? Personally, I don't have any desire to make copies of my discs so this probably won't hurt me either way, but legally I think consumers are allowed to make backups of their media.
EDIT: I watched the demos again and I have concluded that the iHD menus do not look bland by comparison. They look like shit by comparison. I sure hope Blu-Ray can hold up against HD-DVD.

I don't know if I would go as far as awmurray, but I am more impressed with the BD-J (Blu-Ray Disc Java) in comparison to iHD. It seems that there is more possibility for interaction and dynamic features. iHD looks like they just enhanced what we currently have now, while BD-J seems to be some new and with greater interactivity.
Its no wonder - after seeing these demonstrations - why Disney decided to ditch iHD in favor of BD-J.

I assume they had their best foot forward, too. Given that, I'm just saying I'd be embarrassed to show the iHD/HD-DVD demo next to the Java/Blu-Ray one.

What really amazing is how much Disney values larger capacity. Disney and MS codeveloped iHD.

Anybody have another copy of the BD-Java demo? It's telling me it's been downloaded too many times :( I guess 100 is the limit.

Also, Disney needs a lot of capacity because they're the studio that uses the most audio tracks (many children can't read the subtitles).
