I use to see it on-line a while back should have gotten it then but I was just wondering because I can't really find it anymore.

you can't get it from any stores. try eBay or Amazon, but buyer beware and expect to pay close to $200 for a good one!

I've found that set twice now in the past 2 months. Once at Pawn America for $15, 3 of which discs were sealed, just no outer box, and just about 9 days ago at Cash N Pawn, complete with box, all opened, for $25. Sold both sets for $185 a pop.

It was stopped being produced by the DVD company. I got it ages ago on amazon before it was deleted. EBAy have got a couple of sets. To be honest I loved it and thats why i bought it, but after a couple of watches....is it really worth the hassle just for one box set for a show that doesnt even finish. How frustrating is the last episode!!!!!!

So what's the current market value for a copy complete with the lunchbox and bonus DVD that were such a hassle to obtain in the first place?

It's supply and demand, and I appreciate the market. It goes both ways, and nobodies forcing anyone else to pay the asking price. Simple as that. Anyone else in my situation would most likely do the same.

Might get most if you sell them seperately. I just couldn't bring myself to sell them after all the trouble it took to get them in the first place.
There are/were rumors that it has been or is being shopped around fo rerelease... though who knows and I don't know if I would repurchase it. If the extras are anything like what is on the bonus disc that came with the lunchbox then I will definitely not be double dipping if it ever does get rereleased.

If you're trying to find the sets its mostly about patience these days. I've picked up 3 sets over the past two years. the 1st was from a distributer which i got new for around $55. The other two i picked up this past year from used stores for $25 and $50. Unfortunately, one set was stolen from me but i was able to find the last set this past month. THe key is to check all the stores that sell used dvd's. Like FYE, Suncoast, Sam Goody, Gamestop, Eb Games, and your local pawn shops.
As to the amount people charge for these sets. Ideally, people would just sell or trade them to other people for retail value or less. I have one set up for trade right now, my hope is that someone will want to trade for it that is actually going to keep it for themselves. But there's no way i would sell it for $50 or the trade equivilent, because who's to say they wouldn't just sell it for $175 themselves. When dealing with OOP rare dvd's it gets pretty hard to trade them when you look at how much they sell for.

The set was produced by a company that no longer has the rights to it, which is why it is out of print.
The good news is that ABC / Disney has all the rights to it now, and they are usually pretty good about TV on DVD. I wouldn't be surprised to see them issue a set in the next few years.
Until then, I believe episodes still air daily on the Noggin cable channel.

This was always one of the sets i saw at Best Buy for $80 and wanted to drop in price before i bought it. I guess i missed the boat. Hopefully it will get a rerelease at around $30-$40.
