Colgate / Palmalive $10 rebate (good deal)

This was in last Sunday's coupons and this is an online link.

Assuming this is the same deal... buy two colgate total toothpastes and three of any of the following products: Palmalive dishwashing soap (or automatic dishwashing soap), Softbody soap (the liquid stuff, either hand soap or body soap), colgate toothbrushes / other toothpaste, and some other things. There were coupons for many of these items in last Sunday's paper also.

Here's what I did:
Two tubes of toothpaste @ $2.30 each = $4.60
Softbody soap (refill plus bonus dispenser) = $4.99
Palmalive dish soap = $2.19
Toothbrush = $1.66

Plus on the above items I had about $2 or $3 in coupons. And I should be getting $10 back. It's a mail in rebate, mail in the receipt plus UPC's (for bottled items like the soap, you write the UPC on the back of the receipt).

rite aid had these items for much cheaper this week.

soft soap was 1.50 ea.
toothpaste was 1.49 ea.
palmolive was 1.19 ea.

i spent less than $10 and will be getting cash back to buy their items. (they ran this refund offer before and I did the same thing, spent less than $10 and got my $10 check back a few weeks later)

i'm sorry i didn't think to post this earlier when I first found it on Sunday.
