I've gotten my local Best Buy to pricematch their website by bringing in the online ad. But since this link says "ONLINE OFFER ONLY" do you think they'd still do it? I'm thinking they would because of in-store pickup. However, the titles I want aren't available for that. I do know their inventory system isn't always accurate.

It's hard to say. Usually it just depends on the staff at your local Best Buy. Sometimes I've had luck getting them to PM their online stuff, and sometimes they try to hassle me. I don't think I've tried an "online offer only," though.

If you buy two at Amazon, you'll qualify for free shipping, so I'd suggest heading over there first.

These are the 2 titles I got. The store pricematched the online printout no problem. Good thing I went to the store to check the stock for myself. The online inventory system said "out of stock" on both titles.

Really? It's telling me that my store has Blade 2, but not Magnolia. I'm going to the store tomorrow anyway, so I'll print out the website just incase.

Thanks

I don't know how to edit my posts, so please excuse the double post.

Mr. Cinema, what did you print out? The screen of the two items in the cart with $12.50 next to them, or the list of 2 for $25 titles?

Am I mistaken or did one of the 2 Disc Warner DVDs have "Visions of Light" as a bonus feature?

It was 5 pages, showing all the titles with the "2 for 25 offer" next to each of them.

Never go by their inventory status online. It's never 100% correct. I spotted at least 10 titles today that they claimed were OOS.

I printed the screen of my cart with both DVDs in it. Next to each it says "2 DVDs for $25 offer", and each have $12.50 in the "Total" column.

I guess to be sure I'll print out the list of titles and the 2 for $25 banner. Did you just do the transaction as a normal price match?

Thanks

2-disc. I got the last one at the store I went to.

I took the printout to customer service and they adjusted the price. no questions asked.

Did they not care about the "Online Offer Only" picture right under the 2 for $25 banner?

None of the titles I got where on that page, so I didn't show them that one. They probably wouldn't have cared anyways. If they say something, just say you could have done in store pickup. It's the exact same thing.

In reference to online saying that something is not available for in-store pickup even if the item is there, I have been told by BB that they stock a limited amount at the store for online sales.

Personally, I think the way they handle online transactions (no price-matching generally and limited in-store pickup) is exceedingly poor.

Well my Best Buy was out of Magnolia and the 2-disc Blade 2. Looks like I'll just order them from the site.
