Print screen to image??

I am wondering if this is possible.

If I want to do a print screen, is there anyway I can save that as an image, I know how to paste it into MS Word, but is there way I can extract that and save as a .jpg

Paste it to MS Paint and save it from there.

Or any other image program. (I prefer Photoshop)

Here's a neat trick: Holding ALT while pressing Print Screen will capture only the currently selected window. Voila! Now you don't have to do any cropping.
