You can get the movies for $5 each at most places. I'd go that route.
The Survival Kit is $23. The Best Buy version has a bonus disc with some scenes from Sleepaway Camp 4. Honestly I wouldn't say you are missing much if you don't get the bonus disc. The footage is unfinished, and the film looked like it was going to be terrible.

I blindly bought it.
It is worth $23, in my opinion. If only for the keepcase. =)
But, like cerial442 said, you can find each film for $5 each.
But, then again, there is the keepcase. =)

It might be worth it, but I've still held out on these as they're cut.
And yes Scott, that the red cross edition is OOP is old news as the American Red Cross objected to it; I'd like the see the online locales you speak of.

Ehhh........ more than likely that's just an old image of the non-updated packaging.
If I recall, the red cross objected within a month of the original release. I haven't seen the red cross package since the first month it came out at any B&M and I would surmise all online retailers exhausted their supply of it months ago.

I ordered the box set from Best Buy online a few months ago because I had a $10 gift card to use and when it arrived, I was surprised to find they sent me a red cross version. So I got one for about $15 shipped. Needless to say I was happy.

I thought the red cross ediiton as exclusive to bestbuy...maybe not but the bb version is the only one with the 4th disc...which isn't much but still nice to have for someone like me that enjoyed the complete package.

the movies are great. but I'd recommend them more to people who like horror movies or really campy horror movies. funny, cheesy, bloody and fun
wish I could've got my hands on that red cross edition, missed out when it first came out. it just looks better than the one without it.

I bought it the day it came out with the red cross then like a week later they recalled them or something and released ones without the red cross so I'm happy.
P.S. That bonus disc is stupid. I mean it was nice to have, but it was really just the same scene over and over again as they tried to film it. Whatever a nice collectible.

I picked up the Red Cross cover at Best Buy a few months ago. I bought it thinking I could make a nice profit off it, but apparently the demand isn't that great. I still have it sealed though in case I find a potential buyer.
