Thanks! Still kicking myself for not ordering the first 2 volumes of Seinfeld from DDD's similar sale...

They jacked up most of the prices. Even with $20 off I can't find many good deals.

Yes I have to agree the prices with the coupon are not so exciting compared to other retailers. I'll pass on this Amazon "bargain" for now.

Best value seems to be for the All In The Family and Soap season sets - end up being about $10.50 per season.

I read the reviews and it looks like some SOAP episodes are syndicated/edited versions.

Picked up Soap Season 4 (completes the set!) and Dark Shadows (despite some problems w/the DVD, a guilty pleasure!); $32.98 shipped. Not bad!

Thanks for the tip.

Spoiler:
From TV.COM: Episode 85 -- Mary is drinking heavily. Jodie is stuck in a past life as an old Jewish man. A suicidal Chester finds Danny and Annie in bed and decides to kill them first. Sheriff Burt is ambushed. Jessica faces a firing squad.

"Soap" was cancelled by ABC with little warning. Susan Harris reportedly was furious that ABC pulled the plug despite still-respectable ratings. Rumors flew that ABC couldn't bear the heat from skittish advertisers. However, "Soap" had ceased being controversial by Season Two. Reports have circulated for years that Harris had already plotted Season Five and had planned to get the show back on track after stepping away from it in Year Four. But it wasn't meant to be, and "Soap" went out with a bang (literally) and left audiences with questions that would NOT be answered in the next episode of "Soap."

A comment from the site: It was revealed on a talk show that had Soap not been cancelled, Jessica would have survived because her family arrived to save her and put blanks in all the guns. Still, ending the show with no real resolution except for the hokey appearance later on "Benson" was the ultimate insult to the shows fans. Why couldn't they at least do a TV movie to wrap up the story lines (as Dallas and Dynasty did when they were cancelled but left us with unresolved cliffhangers)?
