The Shield VS. Nip/Tuck VS. Rescue Me
OK, between the top 3 FX original programs, which would you say is your favorite? I was trying to pick one last night while watching the nip/tuck finale and I just couldn't decide. All three are probably my most anticipated shows to watch each week (when they are on).
So I'm curious what you think?

Rescue Me is the only one that I watch religiously.
I quit watching Nip/Tuck half-way through this season due to boredom (though I'll probably watch the rest of the season on DVD). I've seen a few minutes of The Shield here and there, but missed the first couple of seasons and didn't feel like jumping into the show w/out watching it from the start, which I will do one of these days w/ the help of the DVDs.

I can't pick just one. Rescue Me for the comedy and the characters. The Shield for the drama.
Nip/Tuck is a pretty distant third for me though, I don't like it nearly as much as I used to.

This isn't even close. The Shield is the bell cow of this network in all areas. Rescue Me can be very funny, but has really tried too hard to step up the drama recently. Nip/Tuck has just become weak writing overshadowed by over-the-top situations - very soap opera.

I loved the first season of Nip/Tuck and it was probably one of my favorites but about midway through the second season I just lost interest, too much high concept story lines and it just turned into a soap opera. That being said I think that The Shield is the best show on TV, it has great storylines and I can't wait for this upcoming season.

The Shield and Rescue Me and like my children. I love them both equally and for their different qualities. Nip/tuck is like the niece you helped raise, while you love her, just not as much as my own.

The Shield is my favorite show on TV right now. Nip/Tuck is just a fun way to pass the time between seasons. The dead people thing turned me right off of Rescue Me.

The shield.
Nothing gets you on a rollercoaster ride like the ups and downs of what happens on that show. Always on the edge of your seat.

Rescue Me, with The Shield a very close second (a quantum finish, as it were). Nip/Tuck is good, but characters seem to be acting inconsistent at times. The Shield is one tense rollercoaster from first to last eps, and I can't wait for January. But Rescue Me gets the edge due to the extremely varied characters in the firehouse, plus the fact that when it's funny it hurts so good.
