Ok, so I am wondering if I can play my ps2 on my portable dvd player. It is a nexttech 7" portable dvd player that i got cheap for $100. Is there any way I can hook up my ps2 to the portable dvd player and play games on it?
thanks.

I only looked at a few sites that had this player. It doesn't look like it has an input. No input = no ps2. If it had an input, it is usually a button that switches the output to a tv to an input.

You can if it has A/V inputs, but I would think most of them don't have them. They try to make them as small as they can, so there's no room for inputs.

I think all you need are the audio/video hookups (yellow, red, and white RCA plugins) on your player. If you don't have them on your portable I think you're SOL

I thought this was answered by all 3 posters. Check to see if it has an input. Sometimes the input is the same connection as an output, with a switch. It should've come with the adapter wire since inputs/outputs usually look like a headphone plug.
That image is a Samsung DVD player. I have a Toshiba that has a video input. My player uses the same 1/8 inch jack for input and output. I don't know for sure, but I doubt the Nexttech has an input. If you really want to play your PS2 on a portable DVD player, there are several models undere $200 that will do the trick.
