Very cool.

God I wish they still made great games in 2D/pixels.

Me too.

At least the GBA, and to a lesser extent the DS, are keeping the genre alive....for the time being.

Yeah, I wish they made a GBA Player that didn't require a Cube. That'd be great.

They do, you just need to get your DS back from your wife.

For DS? Seems predominately 3D to me. Like Josh said, it's only to a lesser extent than GBA.

The to be fair, that will be improving some early next year with the Princess Peach game and the new Mario game (and hopefully there will be some more 2d games).

There are 3D games for the DS, but I wouldn't say it was predominately 3D.

I saw this earlier and think it's pretty damn cool. I might even play through it to see what how they handled the various levels.

Most DS games out in the U.S. right now are actually 2D, although a fair number of those are "2.5D" games (i.e. 3D engine with 2D gameplay).

Can someone post a screencap? I'm on Mac, and just want to see what it looks like.

Pixel work was originally created for Halo: Blood Covenant, another fan-made game.
