Avoid "The Eiger Sanction" R1...
I bought a DVD with the worst audio and video transfers I've ever seen today: The Eiger Sanction. Combined with the total lack of extras you have what has got to be one of the worst releases ever.
Video:
-non-anamorphic 1:2.4 making it tiny when windowboxed
-horrible digital artifacts and shimmering
-incredible grain
-dark, dark and muddy image.
The sound isn't any better at all. Tt's almost entirely center channel, indistinct and washed out.
I'm going to try and return it...
Avoid it like the plague.
