Starsky and Hutch. The Dukes of Hazzard. ...and now:

http://movies.yahoo.com/mv/news/va/2...404119000.html

Awesome. I adored that show, it was one of my favorites in my youth. I have no misconceptions about the potential quality of this movie. I'm also well aware of the level of quality of the show, and the 1999 reunion movie "CHiPs `99." I still love `em, though...and as long as it has that theme song, I'm sure I'll love this, too. Silly nostalgia, it always gets the best of me.

On a side note, with each passing week, it becomes clearer and clearer the extent to which Hollywood intends to milk this whole remake and sequel thing.

Wow, A Chips movie huh? Gotta be honest here, I loved the original show when I was a kid but a Chips without Estrada is just sad times

They're really reaching the bottom of the barrel here aren't they? I thought that Dukes of Hazzard and Starksy and Hutch barely made a profit.

My vote to take the Larry Wilcox role: Chris Pratt (Bright Abbott from the show Everwood).

I know it doesn't fit the theme necessarily, but for some reason I was worried it was going to be Alf. I'd rather eat razor blades.

Heath Ledger and Jake Gyllenhal all the way. It would be the perfect way to follow up Brokeback Mountain.

I'm sure they'll do Ben Stiller as "Ponch". And then basically they can do Starsky and Hutch characters in tight-fitting CHiPs uniforms and the hilarity will ensue...

Dukes and Starsky both made $90 million each on $60 million budgets.

I don't know how Dukes is doing sales wise as it was just released, but Starsky did make quite a bit when the disc was released.

Emilio Estevez is supposedly interested in making Simon & Simon with Charlie Sheen.

When are we gonna get Ashton Kutcher, Freddie Prinze and Chris Klein in Riptide: The Movie?

I'm guessing a hack screenwriter was watching MadTV too.

Read about this yesterday. I thought it was hilarious their actually making this. They should bring back Danny Bonaduce to beat the crap out of Valderamma.
