Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria

Looks like there was a brief mention of this in a gaming magazine this last week for PS2. Discuss.

Note to self: Finally play the original Valkyrie Profile you have had sitting on the shelf for years.

This is definitely interesting news. Looks like the PS2 is going to go out in a huge RPG blaze of glory.

I think it's pretty cool how nearly every Square/Enix franchise eventually gets a sequel. One per generation is a pretty good plan, Star Ocean, Musashi and now this being examples. Can Vagrant Story be far behind?

Yeah I saw a "picture" of the article on another forum. Looks pretty sweet, the character art anyway. It's Valkaryrie Profile so I'm interested .

Looks like they're going to port the original Valkyrie Profile to the PSP and they're renaming it to Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth. It will be released in Japan on March 2nd.

Ugh, I thought Vagrant Story was awful. I couldn't get into it.

Originally I thought it was a lost cause but there's hope now! The ending was one of the most WTF momemts I've ever had in gaming. Totally unexpected.

Very cool. I guess that makes two games I want on the PSP now.. two games I arleady own on the PS1. Heh. Well, now that this is out I'm wondering if the silent reprint of the PS1 game being rumored won't happen on the basis they could release the PSP port instead.

If you're like me and always wanted to check this out but never did, check your local Circuit City. I picked up a copy in a clearance bin today for $12.40 after tax.

I ended up buying this awhile back during a B2G1 used deal at EB, but it remains unplayed. At this rate I will have to live to be 250 to catch up on all my RPGs.

I can't find time for it. The bad thing for me is I have this and the original sitting on the shelf untouched and I still go and buy the PSP remake of the first game for some reason. One day maybe I'll catch up.

I've debated selling it, but for some reason I hold on to it. I have quite a few collectible RPGs. I unfortunately buy more RPGs than I ever have time to play.
