Movie Characters/Scenes that remind you of your own life.
Don't know if this has been done before or not, but a quick search found nothing similar (I'll give it 3 posts for someone to prove me wrong).
Just thought about this on the drive home from the shopping centre with my wife. We got into a minor argument and I stopped it by almost smashing into a parked car on purpose. Reminded me of that scene from The Mexican where Brad Pitt and Julia Roberts are arguing. A lot of the stuff on Everybody Loves Raymond also hits home almost every show. I also got a strange feeling of familiarity while watching Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. The relationship between the 2 leads just seemed so dynamic I think most people would relate to it on one level or another. And my wife looks kinda like Kate Winslet too, so that helps.
So, what movie characters, relationships, scenes, or moments remind you of your own life.

During a dark time in my marriage - which happened to coincide with the theatrical release - I identified heavily with Lester (Kevin Spacey) from American Beauty. When I saw the film the first time, I felt like parts of it were lifted right out of my life. Freaky.
I was going through a similar epiphany of sorts, though I'm glad to say mine did end a little better (marriage strong, etc) and I wasn't

I could relate alot to the character, Eddie, from Shaun of the Dead. He's a big couch potatoe just like me... 
Also I could relate to the main boy character from The Sixth Sense, when I was bullied alot in my mid teens...

I would have to say The Fast and the Furious, as I'm pretty buff, tend to do a lot of street racing in high-priced, tricked-cars with hot chicks at my side, and I have been known to do a bit of freelance undercover work for the FBI---which probably stems from my highly decorated yet secretive career as a CIA assassin and former Navy SEAL. I had to give that up though, as I just got tired of all the killing, and I began to have second thoughts about the real motives of my superiors after they set me up and left me for dead.......

Michael Caine in Oliver Stone's The Hand.
I want to write and draw comics but in a drug related accident, that lasted 1.5 years, my natural motivation got lopped off. Occasionally I see it moving about out of the corner of my eye and it has left prints at various scenes of nefarious activity.

In College, I really relate with the Sean Bateman character in The Rules of Attraction (James van der Beek).
I really dug the Ellis novel and the portrayal in the movie was totally like me at that time.
