Loved "The Todd" appearance.

So Aaron Eckles will most likely get off scot free now that the tapes are toast.

They raised the possibility of Veronica staying in Neptune after high school because her chance meeting with the lady from Hearst college.

And I literally raised my hands and said "Wallace! Yay!" at the end of the episode.

Another good episode and its great to see Wallace back.

I just hate the fact that we probably don't have new episodes til January since this was the Christmas/New Year's episode.

Pretty good episode

I hope Wallace left his family where ever he went. This show was really moving once they ditched the story with his parents.

Logan watching his the tapes of his dad banging his girlfriend

I want to know how Veronica is going to prevent Meg's parents from gaining custody of the child. Will Duncan step up and claim the child as his? (It makes the "take care of baby" assignment from the past take on a whole other level of significance now).

So Leo is done in the sheriff's department. Will he show up periodically?

Looks like Veronica will be doing the same thing for college as Buffy and Willow.

I sure hope that Mac is her roommate freshman year (when Kristin will be 26).

The favor in the hospital was pretty obvious foreshadowing.

I wonder if Duncan and her will fight for custody or they'll suggest she was killed by her parents and have Veronica investigate that.

So they allow us to see an 'alternate ending' of meg being killed...and then kill her on the show? I was hoping for them to kill Duncan

Veronica's 18, but had she already signed up for a voter's registration card so quickly? Hmm...oh wait, her dad did run for sheriff, so that's probably why she'd register to vote.

Well, in the real word, I think "money" would play a small role... Duncan has enough to do anything.
Not sure how much drama you can get from just throwing money at a problem, but you never know.

Does anyone know where I can still see the alternate ending? Everytime I tried to play it before it would lock up my machine. When I remembered to try from another computer, it seems as though AOL has taken it down.

I'd like to see it too, or at least get a recap of what happens.

Certainly the question I had. Patman's explanation sounds right.

I'll echo it. They established early in the season that Veronica turned 18 when Lamb called her to the station and noted that because she was 18, he didn't have to notify pops.

does California pull people for Jury Duty off the voting registration? I know that's how they do it here in PA, but I am not sure how it works in other states.

Some states have started doing it by driver's licenses and state issued IDs. I know Ohio was considering it, not sure if they ever did.

Ok, I remember now. Too bad we never had a B-Day party for Veronica...could'be been interesting. She must be born sometime in the summer then.

As someone very interested in criminal law, I hated the way they depicted the jury using facts not in evidence to speculate their way to guilty verdicts. If a jury has to speculate about facts, that's a sure sign it is time to find the defendant not guilty.

I also hate that they pulled the 12 angry men routine out, as though it is the only story anyone can ever tell about juries.

With all of that said, I think it was a quality episode that handled its subject matter as well as any other TV show I have seen tackle this stuff.

This is the part of the episode that made no sense.

Aaron tried to kill Veronica by locking her in a box and lighting it on fire in the season finale. Even if he were somehow cleared of Lily's murder, I would think the testimony of Veronica and her father would be enough to put him away for a long time.
