crap, my DVD recorder wont turn on, plus dvd stuck inside!
I have a Panasonic DMR-ES10 It has worked great, records great everything, then tonight I went in my room and was gonna watch a couple episodes of Scrubs season 2 on DVD, I went to go turn on the DVD recorder and it wouldnt turn on, something was going on with the screen and if I got close to the dvdr unit i could here some noise. i unplugged it everything, then Disc 2 of Scrubs is stuck inside!
crap dont know what to do. gonna call panasonic tomorrow morning.

If its still unplugged it can't hurt to take the cover off.Maybe the dvd is lodged where the door won't open.

Try this:
With the power OFF, press and hold the Stop and Channel Down buttons at the same time on the main unit (not remote) for about 5-7 seconds.

Its dead, I called them and the nearest service center is about 2 hours away. Plus i dont have the reciept. I was able to take the cover off and get the dvd out unharmed. Crazy the thing worked great during the day then later that night nothing.
