DavisDVD informed me of the fact a few months ago. Appraently the 2-discer went OOP not too long ago, which would explain the vast quantity still in stock. DVDAF confirms this as well.
ICE AGE 2 is coming out soon, which would explain why the set is OOP.

I have the RE of both as well; after reading the reviews here at DVDTalk, I decided not to "upgrade."

Yeah, read the two reviews and they are definitely not worth upgrading for me even at those prices. I hate two discs sets that don't make good use of the second disc.
