Thank God. I saw Don Bluth and Gary Goldman at the Savannah Film Festival last month winning Lifetime Achievment Awards. Once Upon a December brought tears to the eyes of the audience.

The inclusion of the Bartok film kinda blows, though. Hopefully, they have the trailers attached. And lastly, I wouldn't have minded a DTS or music-only track.

New anamorphic transfer. I'll be buying it. Fox gets me again, dammit.

I didn't get around picking up the first release mostly due to the letterboxed transfer. It will be an easy choice to pick up the new release now

DVD Empire lists it as anamorphic & Circuit City is selling it for $12.99 WITH MovieCash for Ice Age 2. If it is anamorphic + that deal = a must buy no brainer.

Was ecstatic to see it when it came in last week. One of my favorite animated movies of all-time, possibly because my degree is history and I spent a long time studying Russian history and enjoy movies with a historical context (not to say the film is actually accurate or anything). Will be getting this Monday night.

Wal-Mart in Canada has this advertised for $14.88 with movie cash and a child's size Ice Age T-shirt...really can't lose... Love this movie and will be happy to pick it up...hadn't bought the original release, was holding off in hopes of this...can ditch my widescreen vhs!

Review won't be up for a few days, but to tide you over: it looks downright terrific. (And yes, it is anamorphic.)

Great review. I swore I read the back a dozen times and didn't see that the new family fun edition had the trailors, but the reciew said it does include it. Picked it up last night and will look forward to the free time I'll need to watch it and explore all the bonus stuff.

I picked this up at Wal-Mart for $13.xx ... (gong to pricematch later), and they had the Ice Age Super Cool Edition for $11.xx with moviecash.

I was going to order through Amazon.com for $9.97, but does anyone know if the Amazon.com ones come with the moviecash?

i gotta pick this one up tonight.

agree with the review of this release regarding the cover artwork. it does indeed make it look like one of those inferior low-grade Goodtime releases. the girl on the cover doesn't even look like Anya.

You didn't misread anything - the trailers are (for whatever reason) not listed on the box. But they are included.
